Saving Coriander Seed
If you have suitably neglected your coriander in the tunnel by now it should be dried up and miserable looking, but contain a wealth of perfectly mature seeds. These can be collected to grow again, or better still collected to make a sublime locally spiced curry.
Here's a tip we learned from Brown Envelope Seeds. Crumble the seeds off the plant between your fingers, rubbing away most of the spiders' webs, dead leaves and branches. Then bring your coriander seed inside and scatter, handful by handful on a tipped up tray. The little round seeds will obediently roll to the bottom of the tray, ready for collection, leaving behind all the unwanted mossy debris. You now have your perfectly clean, perfectly dry seeds ready for use.
