Extreme Greens

Thanks to all those who use this blog as a resource. I love to look at all the countries and communities of those who have visited these pages.

We've not posted anything recently and I'm missing it. The winter and spring plants are going to flower and the new summer growth is pushing through and I'm looking forward to getting back to investigating what's out there.

But a writer can't serve two masters, and we're busy finishing Extreme Greens. This is a book about understanding seaweed: how to find it, knowing the marine and stellar environments in which it grows, and then the joyful bit – how to cook with it and use it to make cosmetics and medicines.

Coming this autumn!

  1. Exciting news, Sally! And it has reminded me that I have a packet of dillisk that I've been meaning to make some scones with, from an Ard Bia recipe. Best of luck finishing up the book, can't wait to see it in the autumn.
